It’s also not a new treatment. It has long been recognised and used in the hospital system and in sports medicine and its effective wound healing properties since the 1970s. ------------------ What does the treatment involve? The treatment works by gathering platelets from the patient’s own blood in order to inject them into problem skin areas. It starts with the extraction of a minimal amount of the patient’s blood. This is then placed in a centrifuge to spin down the blood which separates the red blood cells from the platelet rich plasma. Platelets contain a high amount of “growth factors” which are the proteins that help to heal injured tissue or damaged skin. Immediately after re-injection the platelets release their growth factors which trigger surrounding cells to grow, in turn stimulating repair, increasing volume and rejuvenating the skin. The treatment takes 60-90 minutes. Who is Platelet Rich Plasma therapy for? We recommend this treatment if you are looking to improve the overall appearance of your skin and address deeper collagen formation. How long do vampire facials last? Results from PRP take up to 3 weeks to appear and they will continue to improve gradually over the next 3 to 6 months. They typically last 12 to 18 months after the initial series of three treatments. How often should you get a Vampire facial? The first three treatments should be every 4-6 weeks then after that 6 monthly to get into the good skin cycle.

Time is valuable so please arrive promptly. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will need to be rescheduled. We require at least 48 hours notice to cancel or rearrange an appointment. • If less than 48 hours notice is given, full payment for your treatment will be charged. • An additional booking fee will be required to secure a new appointment. • Clients who do not attend a scheduled appointment will forfeit their booking fee. No exceptions. Our full cancellation policy is available at www.lkjaesthetics.com Any remaining balance (if applicable) must be paid before or at the time of your appointment. We accept Cash & Card payments. Pre-Treatment Advice: • No alcohol the night before and for 48 hours after your treatment. • Avoid caffeine and blood-thinning medication on the day. • Please eat something beforehand to avoid feeling faint. • Do not wear makeup or tinted moisturiser if you’re receiving injectable treatments this may result in your treatment being refused. Please inform us immediately if you: • Have any allergies, skin conditions, or underlying health issues • Are pregnant or breastfeeding • Are taking any regular medication Due to insurance restrictions, children are not permitted in the clinic. If you bring a child with you, your appointment will be cancelled, and full payment will still apply. Split Brow Payment Option: This is offered as a courtesy by LKJ Aesthetics. If you opt for the split payment and fail to attend your second appointment (7–10 week top-up), you will be invoiced for the remaining balance.
